Environmental

Keyway is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency.

We are committed to compliance with appropriate authorities and organisations in impending relevant legislation and standards, we always endeavour to avoid risk of environmental damage and hazards to health through the use of practices and materials that are environmentally acceptable.

Health and Safety Management

Keyway has a comprehensive health and safety policy available on request. All employees are issued with a safety handbook and health and safety induction and ongoing training is a major part in employment of staff and operatives.

We continuously monitor all methods of work and regularly carry out health and safety audits. Hazards will be identified and the risk of injury, disease or dangerous occurrence is minimised by the achievement and maintenance of high standards of health and safety.

Equipment

All equipment from Keyway is supplied with a
Certificate of Conformity. Keyway provides up to date
equipment which benefits from the latest technology
in health and safety devices.

All equipment is thoroughly checked and tested before
delivery to customers and all heavy good vehicles are
regularly checked in line with VOSA standards and
regulations.

Operatives

Keyway’s operatives are fully inducted into our
comprehensive health and safety policy and are issued
with PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to ensure
they comply with site regulations and maximise
personal safety.

We have a wide range of skilled operatives all holding
current CPCS, CSCS, PTS and HGV licences.

Emergency

Keyway has emergency action plans in place to cover all potential risks.  All accidents are fully investigated and documented.
